Whimsical B&B Garden

Partnering with Jennifer and Mark to add even more beauty to their magical LakePlace B&B in Dresser, WI, was a true joy!

This foodscape design came to life through a beautiful series of connections 🤠. We are so grateful for our family and community 🙏🏼.

This past summer, my family and I stayed at the LakePlace B&B. My brother and his wife sparked this collaboration by finding the spot.

When Mark noticed how closely I was observing recently planted wildflowers, my dad mentioned my career as a permaculturist.

This led to Jennifer and Mark offering me a free night at the B&B in exchange for some permaculture advice.

I said, "Sounds great, I'll bring my beautiful partner, Chanel, who is also a permaculture designer!".

Chanel and I enjoyed a lovely evening at the BnB and brainstormed possibilities with Mark and Jennifer, as we walked the land together.

The end result ➡ Chanel designed a beautiful front-yard garden, filled with medicinal flowers, edible berries, a reflexology trail, and a cozy seating area. As future guests enter their B&B experience, they'll step into a whimsical garden filled with showy flowers, tasty fruits, and a plethora of bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.

We are grateful for the opportunity to co.cultivate this regenerative landscape and are excited to see it come to life!!
